There hasn’t been much

to blog about lately, nor time to sit here uninterrupted to put any thoughts I do have down.

Anyway, for anyone who might have winced about my stabbed finger; it’s nearly healed up, though a little tender. The dayplanner is finished, though I haven’t been able to get it to A, who ordered it.

Our ‘real’ life 4H county fair is less than a week away and the kids have been working hard to get things completed for it. I think the kids have some good pictures this year for photography (I’ll get them posted into Flickr for anyone who wants to see). They are both doing leatherwork. Girl is making a folder and Boy is making a shield. The shield is a challenge to make, so keep your fingers crossed that he gets it finished by next Friday. Girl also has another half dozen or so other things that she is working on finishing up. It should be a busy week trying to get it all done.

We have been talking about school plans for next year. For some reason, I’m not feeling to connected to trying to organize myself yet. Maybe because Boy is still finishing some things up.

I did have someone try to buy my purse again this week. I found it very flattering, but I’m not sure if anyone would still be interested after I tried to put a price on it. (For that matter, how does one put a price on it?) It would be fun to have some income from my hobby though.

And on that note, I’ll close with a picture of my mil’s Christmas present. (Jeanne, do not click on the ‘more’ and ruin your surprise!) I am planning on entering it in the open show at fair.

She wanted a small bowl like the ones I had made for our friends back in New Mexico. But something with more of a traditional floral design and only a little color.
