And she raises her head again….
Remember the issue that started with Bang at the beginning of the month?
Well, the woman did rejoin the list, but then announced to everyone that they were moving away in November and so they weren’t going to participate and would just focus on packing. And then dropped off.
Okay, case closed.
Then K pointed my attention to a local discussion list, where the woman is trying to trash the group. She didn’t get far, but I’m hating that someone looking on the list and wanting homeschool group information is now going to find this when they search:
So, that was wrong, but I guess talking about killing/slaughtering animals is ok… even though I disagreed and my children were upset by it that’s ok.
Then it’s ok to talk about lesbians and put them down and talking about some kind of tshirt or something… I stopped listening when I realized the conversation was negative…
And that is so NOT our group and it is also NOT ME!
What had happened is that the woman had wandered by while K and I were discussing this post of mine and had had no idea about what we were discussing.
GRRR….

The internet is a wonderful thing for disseminating ideas and information. Unfortunately it does have this ugly underbelly, that if someone decides to post something negative or untrue about you, there is precious little you can do about it.
You probably can’t stop this, so do what you do, say what you believe in, and dodge the flying tomatoes.
