I’m a sewing fiend
I’m busy making costumes (only 3) for the play. Girl’s and Boy’s and since they match, the other kid playing Boy’s twin. Making Renaissance costumes is fun, but frustrating.
This is the other Antipholus’s doublet before I added the skirt. I thought I’d like the dark blue better than Boy’s lighter blue, but I don’t. The color is a little off in this shot.
I still need to put on the buttons (17 on each) and make and attach (lace-on) the sleeves, but…

The shirt is an old dress shirt with the collar cut off and lace put-on in place of it and the pants are regular dress pants tucked into knee-high socks. It works.
Next week I’ll be doing Girl’s dress.
