One down, four to go
Remember this?
Well, it now looks like this:
Yep, I got the hardest one done. I’m hoping the other four will not be so bad. This one took nearly 4 hours (which is why I didn’t do another one yesterday). Hey, I replaced the drain as well as the faucet!
I hate plumbing! Things don’t want to move; you are in tight spaces; you are reaching into tighter spaces; and while you are on your back, unable to move, yucky things fall down on your face.
OH, and the water is turned off so you can’t wash your hands!
But it sure looks prutty when it’s done.
On a different note, Boy left this morning on a two-day 4H junior leadership trip down to Louisville and Six Flags. Poor kid, we had an amazing storm come through about 12:30 last night. It knocked out the power until nearly 7 AM. And it must have knocked out the water pumping station as well. The water didn’t come back until 8 AM. We left the house at 7:30 to drop him off - so no shower for him.

I bet you care more than he does that he didn’t shower
And your taps look great. We need to pick up a sink tap today and then hopefully this whole kitchen thing will be functional by the end of the week….

Love the new faucet! You’re talented; I’d never attempt plumbing or electrical stuff.

Looks nice. I can’t believe Boy will be going off to college in a few weeks! I’m watching you for clues on how to transition.
