Just a quick post
Before we run out of town for a quick last family vacation before Boy heads out next week.
Tomorrow we are heading north for a full day playing at the waterparks in Wisconsin Dells, then it’s over to Minneapolis to visit the Mall of America, and lastly on our way back home we’re stopping in Chicago to catch a play.
Datter will certainly see some of America at this rate.
Not much else, we had a good visit with step-mom and she and I played double solitaire every night. The last night Girl finally joined us for triple sol - continuing a family tradition. She must have had fun because the next night she, Datter, and I ended up playing.
Datter is buried in the Twilight series, but seems to be enjoying being here. Tonight she’s been playing games (Werewolves and Seers, Falling, and now Munchkin) with Boy, Girl, and their friends.
And I got my 5 minutes of fame this evening. I gave an Intro to homeschooling talk at the local library and it was covered by both the local TV stations and the paper. Not too bad.
