Seen any good movies lately?
With all the flack about Tropic Thunder floating around, we decided to go see what was really the concern.
In a nutshell
Two characters (who are actors) are jerks. They care about nothing but themselves and getting important roles and awards (and the money and toys that go along with fame). They use “the word” multiple times in a conversation.
IMO - IT SHOWS WHAT JERKS THEY ARE!!
Using the word is not shown in a positive light, but to highlight their flaws.
Isn’t that a good thing?
BTW, the movie was funny.

I was wondering whether the movie was any good. I’m not planning to make any particular effort to avoid it — my objection is to the word, not this movie in particular.

I am so out of the loop, I have no idea what this movie is about. I’ve never heard about it. I’m from VMs (recipe_addict) and just wanted to check your blog out. Good luck with the start of school!

Ok, I’m a bit in the dark too. I read one sentence about it somewhere. Is “the word” one that refers to handicap people?
