		<description>thanks for the links- so what is SOS math? and have you ever used the Life of Fred books for teaching Math? my son is a total math phobe (hard to believe since he is also a pretty hardcore gamer) but these books have been awesome (along with aleks.com)</description>

		<description>Yeah, my understanding of geography is that it is a pretty broad subject that covered what are often described as human geography and physical geography. The latter would include earth science. Maps is a pretty narrow conception of the subject. But certainly at the university level I know geography isn&#039;t a big discipline in North America whereas it is huge in the UK. (whether it is disciplined or not is a matter of ongoing debate among my friends, some of whom are geographers)</description>
