Bloggy award

Both Mama at the Outer Edge of Normal and then Piseco at Mind Games have honored me with:

And all I can say is Thank you and ditto on many of the other names they mentioned. Rather than renaming those same people, I thought I’d pass it on to some others.

First we have Doc – She can get to some people (okay, maybe I should have said all idiots) but I have always looked up to her.  She rarely says something that hasn’t been thought out and considered. She is wonderful about extending a helping hand to people, which is certainly something that the world needs more of.

Then we have Jane – In many ways when I interact with Jane, I fall into some of the patterns of the interactions I have with my older sisters.  I guess I’d have to say that in some ways she reminds me of them.  Though in other ways, she’s very different which sometimes takes me completely by surprise.

And I think I’ll stop by just adding two.  There are more (shot if you are on my blogroll, there’s a reason I read you regularly), but I rather do it this way or I’d be going on forever.

(Shot, how’d the comments get turned off?  They’re on now.)

Congrats on the award! It’s true…I do learn something new all the time here (mostly, I am reminded how bummed I am you’re not in B-ton).

Once I’m done NaNo, I’ll have check out those blogs you recommended.

Thanks for not giving it out to the same 10 people I might want to pass it on to!

  • Changes

I’ve been talking about our real-life changes and with moving and all I suspect that that I’ll be fairly quiet for the next couple of weeks.
But I’m also considering a virtual move.  Ron and Andrea have been wonderful, but for a couple of reasons I’m contemplating moving my blog to another site.

  • Good Morning!!!

Remember last month when I said that Parts of our Town need to wake up?
In my running around this morning, I went past that church.
Now I don’t know what they have had on their sign for the last 4 weeks.
And I don’t know the context that this is coming from.
    And I didn’t have a chance [...]
