“…fundamental truth that the Government cannot discriminate among its citizens…”

I want us to look back one day on this discrimination against same sex couples, with the same kind of “what? why was that EVER illegal?” attitude that we now view interracial marriages.
I want to have hope for the resounding dismissal of Prop 8 and all other hateful laws like it. I really do.
