Something that Hubby suggested months ago

Remember I’ve done those Homeschooling 101 talks at the local library?

And when I do, I give the librarians piles of handouts that they copy and then keep handy after the talk to give to anyone interested in homeschooling.

Well, Hubby suggested last summer that I add the links here….

but it’s a non-hyperlinked Word document and I hate how messy that becomes…

and I dislike posting links, but not taking the time to make them hot…

Well,  I decided that messy or not, they are posted.

I think all homeschoolers become link collectors at some point.  I go through spells where I’ve bookmarked nearly everything that comes through and other times where I totally ignore it all.  As we’ve been slowly starting our fade here, I tend to save fewer and fewer.

But (updated as of last summer’s talk) here is the list.  I’m not saying that anything in there is better or worse than anything else – in fact some of them I dislike for one reason or another – but they are things that other homeschoolers have passed on at one time or another as worthwhile to them.

If you want to add anything, just leave a comment there.

And on the same note, feel free to pass on notes about broken links – or crappy sites.

I’m not saying that I’ll do anything about them, but they will be there for others to find.

And maybe at some point I’ll make them hot and clean it up

right…

Anyway, hopefully someone will get some value from them being here.

I’ve been talking about our real-life changes and with moving and all I suspect that that I’ll be fairly quiet for the next couple of weeks.
But I’m also considering a virtual move.  Ron and Andrea have been wonderful, but for a couple of reasons I’m contemplating moving my blog to another site.

Remember last month when I said that Parts of our Town need to wake up?
In my running around this morning, I went past that church.
Now I don’t know what they have had on their sign for the last 4 weeks.
And I don’t know the context that this is coming from.
    And I didn’t have a chance [...]
