She will be missed

A wonderful voice has gone silent.

I came home this morning to find out that Betty Malone (The Writestuff) passed yesterday afternoon while taking a nap.

I believe she was only in her mid 50s.

Betty’s voice was distinctive and I heard it first on the IndianaHomeschoolers Yahoo group.  She was supportive of everyone and was a role model to me.

I met her once in passing at a conference well before I knew who she was.  I think we only exchanged a word or two in person.

Last year I came across her on a few blogs and we reconnected. Her own blog was a pleasant place to hear her thoughts and views.

I remember being so joyful to find her again.

She was a wonderful person and will be missed.

Her obituary with visitation and burial information.

  • Changes

I’ve been talking about our real-life changes and with moving and all I suspect that that I’ll be fairly quiet for the next couple of weeks.
But I’m also considering a virtual move.  Ron and Andrea have been wonderful, but for a couple of reasons I’m contemplating moving my blog to another site.

  • Good Morning!!!

Remember last month when I said that Parts of our Town need to wake up?
In my running around this morning, I went past that church.
Now I don’t know what they have had on their sign for the last 4 weeks.
And I don’t know the context that this is coming from.
    And I didn’t have a chance [...]
