Blog Nosh Magazine
This is kind of neat - Blog Nosh Magazine picked up one of my old posts.
Our life is just a rollercoaster, hold on tight because falling off is not an option.
This is kind of neat - Blog Nosh Magazine picked up one of my old posts.
It’s peaceful.
Hubby has the day off and he’s in his den flipping channels and catching up on email.
Girl is parked on the futon reviewing algebra and listening to her Ipod. The black cat is curled up next to her.
and the phone rings…
What do you think?
No, nothing special. He just got in from a party and figured we’d be home and wanted him to let us know that his internet was finally up.
Now it’s worse because of the time change, but really…
I’m exhausted
We were able to fit everything with the help of the car top carrier that we got for traveling to New Mexico and back, but we still had waaay too much to buy when we got there.
Forgot to take an extension cord - why, when we have tons sitting around unused?
Boy seemed as happy as a clam
Now to catch up on everything else….
That’s it, about 4 PM we’ll be taking off to Texas (driving) to go drop Boy off (dodging all that rain down there).
Boy has been hard at work collecting all the stuff he thinks he’ll need and making a list of what we are going to buy before we return home. The pile has been growing for the last 3 days and I’m starting to wonder if the 5 of us will also fit in the car.
It’s kind of funny. I’m happy to see him go, it’s what he wants and all, but watching him clean up his room and empty it out, feels really strange.
(Yes, I did pull half the back seat out of the van and that is it sitting under the blanket, sleeping bag, book, and axe)
What’s not in the picture is the “other” suitcase and his martial arts bag is hidden by the garment bag. And then there’s still the stuff that the rest of us need to be traveling for 6 days. - fun!
